Cutoff sled

Here’s a real luxury! A cutoff sled for my table saw with a large 4×6 out feed table and 2 removable outriggers to catch the sled on the in feed side. This allows easy cutting of 4×8 sheets. By attaching jigs it allows me to cut complex shapes and tapers up to 4 feet long. I have a smaller “sacrificial” sled for my dado blade so that I can maintain the zero clearance on my good sled Of course tilling the blade is also out of the question on the good sled.

I like the sled and the way you’ve made use of your space when not cutting long boards : )

Nice idea on the outriggers – I’m sure you will get lots of years of use out of this. Nice project!

seems a bit too small…. (just kidding)

looks great for cutting wide panels with ease. great distance before the blade. nice!
