This was something my sister wanted me to create. She delivered an old singer sewing machine base and a nice piece of marble to me some time ago. I finally had the time to put it together. This took about 4 hours total. Several cuts with the table saw along with the dado blade made for a quick project. Pocket screws from Kreg is all I used to hold it together.
Thanks!

That’s a great way to recycle. You did a great job. I have done several of these myself. A lot of people seem to like them.
One time I bought a rusty sewing machine stand at a yard sale for $10. I cleaned it up, painted it black and put a nice top on it. I had about 3 hours work in it. A week or so later I sold it back to the same lady for $100.
