Long before I made my first “real” wood-working project, the earlier posted walnut table, I dabbled in birdhouses and canes. The birdhouses are all made out of old barnwood and roof tin. The only thing done to the wood was to use a wire brush on it. In my previous life I was a “tin-bender” and somehow that has morphed into wood-worker.

The canes are made out of wood found on the property. One is cherry and the other is walnut. I have given away most of these pieces.

Now…..................I’m gonna go try and make a bandsaw box.

Thanks for looking…......................Jim

I like it; it’s nice and rustic.

Love those first two houses. Should have put a tiny house on top of the church though, then you could have bats in the belfry.
