A client requested a small stool to stand on so she could reach the top shelfs on her book shelf.
It measures 300mm L, 200mm D and 160mm H. Turned the legs on the lathe, stub tenoned and glued with PVA. Used a spindle moulder to cut the edge profile on the top, sanded to 150 grit then a couple of coats danish oil.
i had two different brands of sand paper one retail and the other commercial grade of the same grit but one was far courser than the other.
