Ukraine Spaceship

This is not my project, but a friend that is not a LJ member, but he should be. He turns beautiful pens.

Mike is a Marine (there are no ex-marines) that has two young children. This is the playhouse he built for them. He has had as much or more fun finding items for it and building than the children will ever get out of it.
The spaceship carries the Ukraine flag because his wife is from there.

Mike is, also, a good friend and I am posting this in his honor for service to our country, and for his love of his children. Maybe, just maybe, if more men would have this kind of love for their child this world would be better off.

After seeing the work that you LJ’s do for your children, then you know I am not speaking of you. I have the pleasure of belonging to the greatest bunch of men and women.

Thanks for looking.

Bear Paw

That is so cool!! And your right about loving our children! They are a special gift from God! We should treat them as such

Built for the kids? Those seats look a bit big! It is a cool place for kids to play. Thanks for letting us see it. My kids had a 3 level tree fort. A little crude compared to this, but it worked.

Bearpaws comment is greatly appreciated, I am honored by his post.

I appreciate all those that donated various materials and ideas for this project, including Bearpaw. My overall cost was $300 but the look on the kids faces is well worth any effort or price.

I am currently waiting on the MIB to show up demanding to know what I am doing with a “spaceshuttle” in the backyard.

That’s awesome, I bet those kids are all over that. If I was a kid I know that I would be.

I am crazy about this and there is no telling how this playhouse will catapult those children into a wonderfully creative career by inspiring their imagination about what they might accomplish in their lives. Nice work.

Great project, I am glad my great-grandkids are not on this site or I would have another request I could not
refuse and my daughter would have less space in her back yard. She does not spoil her grand kids, she is just
pre conditioning them for Great grandpa. Thank you for sharing.
