This is a doll house I made for my daughters 3rd birthday. We saw it at a store and figured I would rather build her something to last and hopefully keep for generations!
It is made of hard maple and birch plywood. The plywood was stained green before it was assembled so I wouldn’t have to try after it was together. There are no metal fasteners in it, all dowels.
2 Years later now and it still looks like it did right after I finished it, even with the abuse it takes from her and her sister! I have 3 more going in the shop right now, one for my other daughters 3rd birthday and to sell, hopeful.

This looks spacious, super rugged, with very fine joinery and a marvelous soft green colour that really compliments the wood tone. Love the balcony details and the gentle curves. She has good cause to be smiling; what a Dad!

My daughters would have loved that when they were little. What a beautiful doll house.
