My latest project….all done on the ring master..no turning involved…Was fortunate to find a board of flaming plus spalted ambrosia maple..wow…the color is deep amber with spalt running through..the vase stands approximately 15 inches tall and 4 and a half inches at it’s widest point..difficult to work with due to the softness of the wood but the end result is worth the trouble..there are 18 rings cut at various angles with black accents on the neck..ca glue was used and clamped every third ring….it’s still a work in progress with 7 more coats of finish to go…thanks for viewing..

Looking good Marshall. There have been some very nice (not) turnings from Ring Masters posted.

Very nice lamp. The wood spalting is outstanding.

This is a very interesting and unusual piece. I had no idea what a ring master was until I read saw this post. I looked at cajunpen’s review on the tool and it sounds like a very interesting tool.

With an ability to produce projects like this I can see that it is something to strongly consider.

Thanks for sharing.

I bet that photo does not fully do justice to that nice piece of wood. Great piece of turning Kineo.
