I agree with Gary. These projects look interesting but do they have a story behind the construction? What wood went into the pieces and any special construction techniques?
The segmented piece in the second photo looks interesting but all we have to go on is the picture alone.

I am new to this site and comments were hard to understand how to post
I only posted pictures from my own computer
as I get better the posts will be better as will the wood work…..

Bruce, Excellent pics of your projects. What is the little curved shape thing? I like your selection of woods in the pieces. What species did you use?

sorry for so little commentary I am new to this site and didn’t know how to post things…
In and out box with sliding dovetails from “woodsmith” using maple,walnut zebra wood and redheart.
Very difficult as the red heart kept chipping in the router.
Wine holder out of various woods found in the school wood shop were laminated and then cut on the band saw in the semi circle pattern. Project from Wood Magazine Dec/Jan 2005-6
