Looks pretty nice. Are the dark pieces protectors over the corners, or is that actually how the edges are joined (some fancy router jig, etc)?

I dont have any router jig, the corners are a metal sheets they create a strenght of a corner and its look nice

Very nice trunk! The alder was a great choice for it and the corners are pretty cool too!

Really nice looking trunk. I like the metal conners, gives the trunk a cool looking effect.
