Since my shop is prone to flooding, I need to have evacuation in mind all the time. Thing is, my HTC roller top extension table makes the table saw too wide to fit through the shop door in a hurry. So… I’ve adapted it to use french cleats to attach to the saw. I need only slide the table left or right to remove it from the saw; makes for a quick getaway when I need one, but the table is rock solid otherwise.

You might also consider this method if you worry about drilling into your saw (in the wrong place!) since you can just replace the cleats to raise or lower the table. I’ve also considered using a second set of cleats to attach the table to some other wall in the shop for extra table space wherever/whenever I need it.

Looks good, being removable is a nice feature too.
