Moved to our new house in Omaha back in July, finally in the past two weeks I was able to get out and sling some sawdust in the garage. These are two of the 5 cabinets I am building for the wife’s craft room. They are 3/4” MDF with an Oil Base White Gloss paint. I didn’t do the shelves, I purchased from menards pre-made shelfs and cut them to the correct size (saved me time in painting). The cabinets are 8’ tall and 24” wide.

The only problem was the wall wasn’t even so one cabinet sticks out about an 1/16” farther then the other cabinet. Other than they they turned out quite nice, perfectly square inside so I am quite the happy camper.

Now I am off to build shop furniture as I had to get rid of all my workbenches when we moved. But the wife came first….aren’t I a good guy (more like a wise guy…she’s pregnant…)

Nice job, I’m sure she will appreciate them. Smart move on the pre-made shelves, saves a lot of time.
