about 3 years ago my wife bought plans thinking it would be a good toy for our daughter. They sat in the work bench for a year. When I finally picked them up it was two years ago. I cut out the main parts then it sat for another year due to busy work time and being ehausted when I got home. About 6 months agoe, I cut some more pieces out. About 2 months ago I managed to put it all together and it sat again. About two weeks ago I went to home depot and bought three of those little sample bottles of paint to the colours I thought would look good. Micky Mouse’s pants red, pure white and black.
Finished with a clear verathane last night and ready to ride today.
I extened the legs about 6 inches from the plan length so it would fit her legs now she has grown.
She is very happy to have it. So much so, she asked to watch Dumbo and proceeded to sit on it and watch the show.

Awesome, I see the little workbench is the background as well. I too have a rocking toy i have been working on for a “while” I understand all too well. Hope to reveal it soon.

Beautiful! I am in the same boat :) I have the pieces cut one year ago for my daughter’s rocking horse. I think I should try to pick it up again to finish before her bday next month!
