Built in a new computer desk. Ash wood with natural teak stain with 3 coats poly, to make it grandson proof. It has 17 drawers and one door. The top right drawer pulls out and houses the printer. Modem, router and all plugs are attached to the wall behind the drawers so no wiring nightmare is showing. Small drawers on top are great to hold small misc things, camera cords and the dreaded bill drawer! Overall size is just under 80” long and 24” deep. Turned out so well I now have to redo my wife’s kitchen cupboards to match since the desk is at the opposite end of the kitchen. That should be a winter project! Used cup pulls on the larger drawers and matching knobs on smaller drawers. Center desk drawer houses the keyboard and mouse when not in use, no pull on it. Chair is from Colonial Chair Co. of Chicago, about 1950 ish model, refinished to match desk, great chair!

Jim: A great looking desk. Nice matching refinish on the chair also.

That’s a nice job. It goes very well there and is very attractive.
