These boards are created out of Maple to fit a kitchen sink. The upper left corner was cut out so the kitchen chef could easily slide the trimmings off into the sink. Clients have shared other uses also, such as being very nice to slide cut up vegetables into a strainer placed beneath the board. The back side has routed edges to make it stay on the sink edges. I will post photos of the back side later tonite.
Whatever your uses, you can be assured it will make your job easier.

Good Idea! Sometimes the simplest things we make are the most useful. Nice work!

I have not seen the cut out before. That is a really good idea. And making it a exact fit for the sink is practical. Too often cutting boards are used on the counter and then the trimmings must be transferred to the garbage disposal. This is definately an improvement on that.

A very useful cutting board. The cut in the corner is a novel idea saving trouble and time. Awaiting additional pictures.
