Well this is about as far as I got for making these tall skinny wine bottle holders. It does balance by its self. This was done for the contest thing for balancing. It holds four bottles. Made out of scrap wood. I used purple heart and red oak. It took a while to get the angles right, but it’s good now. This is strictly a show piece, one comes out and the whole thing would tumble. Thanks for viewing.

A good idea

A question : Does the balancer fall down if a bottle is removed ?

Another question : Does the balancer works if you put a bottle on the top and one in the base ?

A nicely project and an origianl idea

The future challenger is to put 5, 6 , or more bottles

Thanks for sharing

@digger- yes, as of right now if a bottle is removed then it tips. It’s all about balance and the scrap used here was only a 3”wide piece that was 1/2” thick. Thats not too much of a base to hold all these. I will definetly have to try and see if it balances with one on top and one on bottom. I will get back with you on that one. And maybe I will try one that holds 5 or 6, just have to get some thicker wood.
