Just a small box inspired by fall and the colors and sights around me. The box is constructed out of black walnut with half lap joinery. The leaf is a maple leaf cut from maple using my scrollsaw. Finished with tung oil and 2 coats of Deft satin spray laquer. Thanks for looking.

You’re taking to this woodworking like a duck to water. You demonstrate good woodworking skills with each project and each project shows more improvement. Very nice box and good looking finish too.

Rand thank you for your comments, I have truly found something in this hobby I love, and I cant say how much this site has helped my progress, there is some true masters here and I am hopelessly addicted. Trev, thank you also for your kind comment.
