I just noticed that I haven’t posted in a while even though I’ve been a voyeur of all your amazing projects. Recently I decided that I wanted to try a pendulum clock and this design has been floating around in my mind for quite some time. The base is mahogany with maple laminated in the middle, the legs are walnut with a spalted maple layer in the middle. The clock face is maple with walnut dowels for indicators and the pendulum is maple with cherry accents.
Thanks for looking,

Great job Cal. It looks light and elegant. I’m assuming it is more of a table top sized clock? Certainly not your typical pendulum. Also like that you did most everything in groups of 3. 3-pieces laminated for the base, 3-pieces for the legs/supports, 3-pieces for the pendulum, then the crossbar with the legs makes another group of 3.

Highly appealing. This clock would look great on a mantle or hall table. I think this piece exudes a good sense of design. Thank you for sharing it with us.

Wonderful, eyecatching project! I like the design, somewhat whimsical and a little rustic / traditional. A wonderful balance of shape, color and material. Like Jonathan said, the three way symmetry.
Keep up the god work, BTKS
