Have some company coming for a visit and needed something to put big suitcases on instead of laying them on a bed or bench.. Was low on wood and didn’t have time to run to Lowe’s so I raided the junk pile of 2×4 and 2×8 stock left over from building the house… Between a resaw blade on the bandsaw, a planer and a belt sander, I milled the wood for this. No finish yet because I haven’t decided yet. I may just leave it unfinished because it will spend most of it’s life folded up and stowed in the closet.
Quick project—functional—the wife is happy…. SUCCESS!!!

Carl,
All of your projects have nice clean lines, making them visually appealing. This piece is a great example!
You also focus on function? Save the jewelry box and that excellent motorcycle. Also appears that ya got a long honeydo list LOL!
Keeps you employed in woodworking!
