This is a bud vase I turn out of cherry with two rings of plywood. It is 10 inches tall. I did not hollow it out on the bottom so when you put tall flowers in it there would be plenty of weigh to keep it from tipping over. Had a couple small voids in the plywood so I mixed walnut sawdust with glue to fill the voids.

Nice color additions with the ply rings….I always save plastic sandwich bags of dust & shavings from different varieties of hardwoods for just such occasions that you ran into with the plywood voids. Nice job my friend !

Looks great!!! I love adding plywood to projects. I still think in the right place it can be beautiful and add great character and depth to a project. thanks for sharing.
