I know… everyone get’s tired of lookiing at them but it’s my first and it was an interesting project. Had a lot of
1/4 ” exotic scraps laying around and wanted to try something different. They were black walnut, hickory, cocobolo, padauk, oak and poplar. Glued them all together and proceeded to cut a random shape on my recently acquired Delta bandsaw that I got off craigslist for 50 bucks (yes tool gloat included at no extra charge ). Sanded it down to 600 grit and applied some Renaissance wax to it and called it a day. I have to admit, they are fun to build.

On the contrary, we never get tired of looking, for in terms of work it sure beats having to do it yourself. Besides, we’re all pack-rats of nice little details as well as avoiding mistakes.
Yes they’re fun and you have done well. I like the laminated look and the two tone handle. Let’s have some more.

I’d agree with Gene, never tire of looking at these things. I always like to see how others approach them as well. The numerous woods look pretty cool.

That’s pretty cool. I like it.

This is not your ordinary bandsaw box….love the layering of color on this one! Good way to use your scraps in a creative way :)
