Ok, not a big project I know, but I knocked this out for my wife this weekend. More maple, simple router edge an biscuit jointed miters. I would like anyone input for picture frame clamps, and or jigs. Shop made or otherwise, something simple that just works is my thing. This was my first frame, and of course it had to be huge, 60”x40”. More aniline dye and minwax polycrylic. Map is not in glass as she wants to use pushpins to show travel destinations. Oh yeah map is mounted on foam board.

That came out great.
I have a U.S. map that I want to frame.
Thanks for sharing your idea.

I have used a clamping jig made up of wedges at all corners and it worked great. Best of all it can be used for any size frame. I got the idea from:

http://www.woodguy.com/seriesframeset.html (he also shows a cool way to cut circles on the table saw)

Have your say...
