Just a proto type of a asian influenced floating serving tray stand .
I made three of these out of a aspen pallet I found in a stack of pallets .
They are finished in red spray laquer .
This got me out of the blues .

Now just a nice spicy entree to top it off. I love the Asian style. And the salvaged wood is another plus.

Thanks Everyone for your comments.
Ther seems to be a generation gap as to the colors .
I had to use a much darker color to please my doughters with this gift and will keep that in mind on future projects .
I tried to use a asian red which I am very partial too and feel it should be very authentic but there is this trend to darker stains and for a gift I will cater to that.
Happy THANKSGIVING and COLUMBUS DAY Everyone !
