I think it’s great! I have a few pieces that are waiting that I think I could do that way. Did you turn the bottom first?

Yes. First I turn the outside until close to final form. Then I made the bottom and the recession for chuck. Finally I did inside. The harder it was insaide sanding (by hand). Probably because I have not a power tool

Those Pesky sanding Lines!! Just tossed 3 walnut bowls into the seconds bin because I couldn’t get rid of them.
I really like the form of your bowl. You did a great job! The sanding lines will go away with time and better tools. Until then you should be very proud of your bowl!
