Very nice! I like the attention to detail and the feet. Did you turn these?

Pretty nice! What did you use for a finish?

thanks
the stain was a toned down red mahogany, mixed to match the hardwood floor. 4 or 5 coats of clear poly for durability.
I didn’t turn the legs, as that skill is not in my repitoire …yet.
This is fun!!

This is a very nice island. Once sawdust gets in your blood it is hard to get out. The projects, the tools…. the projects, the tools….etc. It doesn’t get any better than this.

Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful work! And a really nice job of matching the flooring.

Surfdude,

Is that a wine rack or a wine cooler??? Great idea, I just showed the wife and I think we’ll steal the idea!

Wow thanks for the feedback
To answer a few questions: The wine rack shelves are made of white melamine. It cleans up with a damp rag and the bottles slide nicely. Added just a strip of pine to conceal the end garin. The seperators are just pine with a cove design routed three sides, painted, glued and brad nailed into place. ( just measure the with of a wine bottle )
Dano: It is not a wine cooler however it was an option I considered.
thanks
