Interpretation of Avara chair

My interpretation of Asmo Noronen’s “Avara” chair distributed by Isku.
White oak and tung oil. Mortise and tenon joinery. Not confident enough to leave the front (which only has one joint) without metal reinforcement pieces. The slats are ash.

Oh, and the upholstery work was outsourced to a professional, in case somebody wondered…

Our neighbor told me later that she was wondering why I spend so much time sanding this as from a distance she thought it was a compost cage for the garden.
