I loved the look of the cracked bandsaw box that several people have made so I decided to try one myself. I finished it a couple months ago but I just haven’t had the time to post it. It is made out of maple with walnut drawer pulls. I like making these boxes I just wish I had two bandsaws so I didn’t have to switch blades when cutting the backs off. Thanks for looking.

Great work! It looks like it would take A LOT of patience and careful cutting to make that. How tall is it? about 12”?

Just thinking of how you made this is giving me a spliting headache. Just kidding. I have never seen something like this, accept in an architechtural building concept. I really like this project, it shows patience and dedication.

Ditto’s to all the above comments! I’m going to have to try this one of those cold winter days ahead.

Nice box !!! Looks like a lightning bolt struck it and split it.
