This is the 2nd Jewelery box I have ever made.
This one for my daughters Biirthday. She loves Red so I painted the interior of the box and the lip. Added felt in the pockets.
I made it from 1/2 red oak plywood (won’t use plywwod again) red oak (real) dividers. The lid pull and feet I made from a piece of square 1/2” stock that was laying around.
I had some exterior varnish left over from my outdoor table project and was too lazy to go to the store so I used that. Again something I won’t use again.
But she likes it and that was important.
It measures 12×6 whuich makes for a real nice sized box.

Looks very nice, especially for plywood.

I would have never known it was plywood if you would have not mentioned it. Nice job and a special present for your daughter.

Very nice Mike – and only your second box – the future looks bright.

Best

Plywood? Sure can’t tell it from here. Nice job.
