Posting this because I havent posted anything in awhile and also I have not seen one of these on here. I needed a way to sand with a 90* so I made this several years ago in a quick hurry. It worked so well I decided to make a new one that looked neater, never got around to it. Off set side of sander fits in hole and it works quite well.

Thats a pretty good idea. There are so many things in my shop I did in a hurry with the intent “If it works I’ll make one that looks neater, but never got around to it, from the cardboard box dust collector over my RAS, to my make shift sand blasting hood.

I love that old steel rimmed wooden long handled tool holder you probably plan to upgrade someday to.

Don I think that barrel is too far gone but i would like it relocated from my shop but no room anywhere else.

Here's one I posted a couple of years ago on my blog. I like to use the drum on the front end for sanding inside of curves.

Nice idea. If you ever need a more permanant setup, or the ability to sand angled chamfers I recommend the Ridgid oscillating belt sander.
