Really pretty grain in this bowl. I’m guessing that is bark? on the one edge? Is Willow nice to work with?

that very dark spot on the edge is sapwood, yes…
the bark is far too loose to try any natural edge stuff (at least it is for this rookie), but, other than that, willow turns easy and takes a lovely shine…
