This is a nice box. I am sure that your mother is pleased with it. I have not worked with bubinga but I like the color and finish on the box.

Cool box, my wife was looking at the computer and asked what are “Bubingas?” From the title of the project she assumed that it was a box to hold your “Bubingas.” I had to explain that it is a box made of Bubinga wood.
I guess that is an easy mistake to make considering we have toy boxes, tool boxes, mail boxes, etc…

This is very nice. You really did a good job of choosing and cutting the lid piece to showcase that cool grain pattern. Also, the over-sized lap joints give it a unique look.

Bubinga is one of my favourite woods – nice job.
