This is an island we made for a client completely of birch, soild wood doors and contertop. It on casters so its easliy moved around, Cameron Gagnon carved a little something into the top to make it personal. Something we think is important here at Public Woodworking, i hope you enjoy this piece and have a great day, keep on creating.

I don’t see any locking casters to keep it from moving when using it. I do say that is a great job, great finish, great idea!!!!!

Nice looking island. How do you operate the casters? I like the birch, kind of an underrated wood in my opinion. I like its color/grain variations.
