These are fairly basic projects compared to the work posted by some of the
outstanding turners on this site but a starter-offer like myself might find them interesting.
The middle and left is birch, stolen from the in-laws log pile (thanks folks) and I think
the one on the right is oak but I haven’t a clue where it came from.

As always, never go off and leave a candle burning.

Excellent turnings, just started turning myself, hope to produce items of this quality, what finish do you use?

Michael – plenty of sanding and a couple of poly coats.

Very nice Murch. I like the look of that birch (bring back the …...)
At least you are finishing off your projects nicely. I have so many incomplete bits lying around.
