My first inlay bandsaw box

I have played around with band saw boxes before. This is my first inlay attempt. The box is made of cherry and maple, lined with stained leather. The inlay is made of pussy willow burl. The tree was growing on my property and needed some serious pruning. Since I don’t have the heart to throw out wood, it ends up in my garage and this piece got lucky (or, I did, depending on how you look at it.) The box became a gift for a local chachky store owner in hopes of getting more business and because she’s cool.
