I have just fitted these cabinets for one of my customers. He insisted it had to be two seperate cabinets as he wanted to be able to remove them to access the plumbing. I made them out of MRMDF and spray painted them in AC laquer. Doors are on soft close hinges and there is one shelf in each that is adjustable. It took some time to scribe them into the basin and pedestal.

Definitely a bit of time spent on getting the contours just right. My complements. What is MRMDF? Not familiar with that term.

Very well laid out. What a puzzle that must have been.

Thanks guys. I was pleased with the outcome as these jobs can be very tricky. MRMDF is Moisture Resistant Medium Density Fibreboard. It is perfect for situations like this in a bathroom. It does need to be painted but is a denser medium than standard MDF. HTH.

Nice, I just might do this in my bathroom as we decided we don’t have room for a full sized vanity…

You did a fantasitc job. A rather unique idea with 2 seperate cabinets. Must have been challenging.

I am getting ready to re-do my small bathroom with a pedestal sink and this has caught my eye as to something that will be done. Thanks for the inspiration.
