On a recent trip to the West Coast, I found this interesting piece of driftwood so I turned a light house out of a piece of Yew I had in the shop.

oooo. very nice. I’m in Maine so I know lighthouses, we have dozens. A few more picture views would be nice. I’d like to see how you arranged the driftwood and lighthouse where the base is. The pict you have is good but doesn’t show that too well. The twist of grain in the lighthouse barrel is really effective. Sometimes I find that the art is often in the grain itself.

Thanks for the post. Artistic
