This table was constructed by doing bent lamanations of 4 black Walnut legs. I joined all four together with biscuts into a center piece made out of solid maple. I beveled the exposed edges of the center piece to give it a lighter elegant look. I topped it off with a glass round table top and satin finish.

It looks great.

How did you decide on the dimensions of the base footprint versus the top diameter so that the table does not tip over when someone lean on the edge.

I have been looking for that ratio for a long time but never found any good answer.

I’ve got the same question as lanwater…
My wife has an all wood version of this table just inside our bedroom door, and if you just brush it, the top tips and things go flying.
Did you glue the glass to the legs?
