Bach Flower Box making at the request of a client. First project in which I use box joint (with my new router table). Top and sides of eucalyptus (Eucalyptus grandis), Eucalyptus details in red (Eucalyptus camaldulensis) and HDF (high-density-fiberboard) for the background and separator flasks. Hardware: bronze hinges and a handcrafted lid holder in copper (made with copper rod and copper rivets). Finish: boiled linseed oil and beeswax.

- Bottles separator has three positions. Just remove, change slot rods and replace it.

- The solution to hold the top is a rod that slides over bottles separator to be closed. Very well thought out for me!!!

- The legs of the box are hidden and are made of cork. It works great.

- For the lid does not move and remain properly aligned, the solution was pressing two strips on the sides and make the groove where they fit in the lid. Very well thought out for me!

- The box is a little big and heavy, so I had to add the pseudo handles on the sides, helping to lift it. Of course they are in a slot.

I hope you like it and find it useful.

Nice design, a lot of thought went into the pieces. Did you make the top separate from the bottom or one piece and then cut it into two pieces?
