Is the constant exposure to coffee grounds going to dye them over time?

I expect that it will, without a finish. Time will tell.Here's one I made last year, same wood, with a finish.
Here it is today. It looks about the same to me. If that’s because of the finish, I can’t say.

I love the scoops! What great custom kitchen items. I would think more would be made. Don’t see that many around or posted much. Bet they would sell well…..........cool man…...............
