Well today I got my planer back together. I am so happy that it is done. So here are some pics of it:
Pic 1: The completed planer
Pic 2: The 7.5 hp single phase motor
pic 3: The Special plug hooked up to the #8 wire
Pic 4 and 5: Test cut pics (just a 2×6 planed to 3/4”)

So now I get to stabilize my lathe then turning projects. :)

(Ok so its not made of wood but Still)

I be there in 15 minutes. I have some rough stock for you to plane, I took out most of the nails and railroad spikes I could find. The barbwire was a bit of a problem though.

Nice Planer. How much does it take off in one pass?

Thanks for the comments everyone, Richard, I have taken 4 revolutions off with the handle which is 0.160 or just over an 1/8th of and inch which is 0.125. And I will be waiting for the rough stock I get $100 for each piece of metal. lol sooooo…...

Maljr, the planer is a 2001 grizzly that came out of a mill and was used a lot.

Soda, I have tried to fix the issue but nothing seems to work must be the operator. ;)
