2 little segment bowl

hi here is 2 more little segment bowls the are not the same the are slightly diferent the Where made out of some segment pieces and laminated pieces i had laying around left over from diferent segment projects so i used them to make these 2 bowls
as you all know wood is fare to expensive to be wasting and i hate wasting wood and money
wood used is Mahogany purple hart white oak

133 pieces in each bowl
its 10 inches at the rim
4 1/4 tall
4 3/4 at the base
finish is 4 coats of denish oil
then buffed

Great looking bowls. I am with on the expense of wood. Great thing about segemented work is that you can use lots of scraps to make a very good looking bowl.

You should film yourself making these bowls. You could show it to us in little segments…

Yes, beautiful bowls like this need to be shown. I have yet to figure how this turning is done.

G’day Branch, nice work on the bowls, you sure have the segmenting mastered. Bit late but got held up in hosp with the knee.

Oh Branch your craftsmanship is divine! Wood choices and contrast smooth. Then the shape regal. Darn I’m going to make a salad. I just wish I had one of those bowls to eat it out of so I could feel like a King!!!!!!!!!
