This was made for my wife’s birthday. Don’t really fancy myself a box builder, but she wanted one and I have to say I enjoyed making it.

It was inspired by the following two boxes that I thought were pretty nice.

Who knows, I think I may have caught the “box making bug.” :)

HAPPY B-DAY AND I LOVE YOU HONEY!

I will say that you did a great job on the carving and the box. Your wife loved it didn’t she? That’s what counts!

Watch out with the box making…it is extremely addictive! Great job on your first box! The swans look great…a bit of work to shape them isn’t it? thanks for sharing and can’t wait to see what comes next.

Bob, you did a very nice job on this box and I’m sure that your wife loved it.

Thanks everyone!

lol, yes Triumph1, already planning a second attempt and new design. Swans were a bit of work but fun. Someday maybe I can carve as well as you :-)
