We have a new puppy by the name of Isabell, she is a Mini Pincher and she is to short to jump up on things. I had some scrap cherry and maple from other projects and made her a step stool. I joined it using hand cut dovetails. I stained it with Cherry gel stail and finished it using wax buffered in. So far so good…

The woods go nicely together and the dovetails look great !
I am about to make something for my friend’s Chihuahua …talk about too short ! Hahaha

I think I would have to apply some fabric or cushioning to the top so she wouldn’t slip and slide off though : )

Nice little addition, both the step stool and the puppy. i can see that you are like many of here, and are real
strict with your animals, make then stay off the furniture and beds and do not spoil them at all. Thank you
for sharing and enjoy Isabel.
