This is loosely based on Jim McGuire’s “Candy Dish Santa” pattern from a few years back. I used his pattern for my blank, but changed a few details, such as the hands and a bag of toys instead of a backpack full of candy. And my face and paint job is different also. I really love the shape of ths guy; he’s kinda like a happy little gnome. I did one similar last year as a topper for a staff, but this one has a few extra details like the toys. They would be a little too delicate for a staff.
