This idea came to me when I first started thinking about the guitar as an pop culture icon. Slide guitars and Ouija Boards both have an element of play and improvisation built into them. The Southern Gothic aesthetic of both also seemed to mesh very well conceptually.

The table top has a glued on poplar molding frame that has a Roman Ogee Molding on the outside and a 1/2” round over on the inside. The entire table itself is 6/4 mahogany with a 1/2” cove running around the bottom.

The legs are turned northern ash.

Man that’s cool (and slightly creepy as in it would look right at home in “Interview with a Vampire”!)

I love the slide!

That’s awesome! Really great work. A little reverb, a little echo, a little overdrive and you may be able to get it to sound as spooky as it looks!
