My daughter is nuts about horses so I decided to build her a toy box that is rustic looking and sort of resembles a tack box (Where you keep horse accessories). Instead of using some sort of trim I decided to use rope for a trim design. The horses were cut out with a laser burner (wish I had one). The box is made of solid oak boards joined with biscuits. The finish is Minwax gloss poly.

She’s a lucky kid! Nice job. For me the picture does not show the wood in the project? Stopped to see it because I have a couple in mind for a play therapy room. :)

That looks better than the tack boxes I used to make my daughter way back when. The one thing I do remember is: they were heavy…........
