When ever one of my Children and there wife or husband have a baby I make things for the babys room. When my son Bill and his wife had a baby girl this past August, I ask him what they would like me to make for them. My son ask for another corner bench but he like to be able to use it for a toy box for when his daughter got older. So I took the plans form the corner bench I made them before and modified them to make a corner bench toybox.

That’s very nice. I like the ‘lip’ around the top edge.

This is a nice project as well. The design makes efficient use of corner space which is difficult. It combines a good looking piece of furniture with needed functionality. Good job.
Thanks for the post.

Very nice! A great idea! I really like the top and the proportions. What are the dimensions?

Looks real roomy for a lot of toys. You will probably forget about a few toys in it and find later to your suprise.
Have fun with it.

NOW, that is a great ideal and design. Using that ever wasted corner space for something we all never have enough of…toy storage and a place to sit. Great idea! I really like the design, but have one question. What design did you use for a handhold/handle to lift the lid? Can’t tell by the picture if you used a cutout (don’t see it) or some kind of recess. This is a great idea I’d like to use myself. Thanks for posting.
