Two Jewelry Boxes

September, 2011—These two jewelry boxes were inspired by the box featured in Wood Magazine, Dec/Jan 2009/2010, page 58. I decided to make some changes to the plans in Wood. For example, I used the Kreg pocket hole joinery to attach the sides to the top and bottom. Another change was to continue the “wave” theme on the sides, letting the top and bottom wave free of the straight sides.

One of these boxes is stained with walnut and the other in chestnut. I like how these turned out.

I likes em… very nice Is that Ash w/Walnut? whatever the combo/s, their both nicely done

Nice looking Jewerly Box, good wood combos and construction, this must be a popular style for so many to make, interesting to see all the versions, thanks for sharing and taking the time to reserch the extra info Mic

nice boxes. I like the drawer pulls and the small feet. Nice combination of contrasting woods
