This is my latest project, a morris chair out of myrtle woood. trying to get pic included
Waiting for shop to finish cushions which are being made out of elk hide.

Nice. Funny how changing the (expected) wood can so totally alter the flavor of the piece.

You do very nice work, Bud. (And I like the fish – trout?) Is this the natural color of Myrtle or have you stained it? It reminds me a little of our Tasmanian Blackwood.

Thats a real nice wood. I’ve never worked with it, but I sure like the look. I can’t wait to see it with the cushions.
