Finished this shadow box for a copy of the Declaration of Indedpendance. Made from curly maple and walnut. Measures about 40×32. Finish is arm-r-seal.

Sorry about the pics, it’s almost impossible to avoid glare on that large of a piece of glass.

Really nice details. I like the way the frame is detailed and beautiful without taking away from the prominence of the displayed Declaration of Independence. Exceptional work.

Very nice – the bevels and splines really set it off. You can never go wrong with the curly maple!

It’s absolutely beautiful. I wish that it were mine so someday maybe I can do something like that for my home with bot the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Thanks for posting this and congratulations.

Great build!

If you do make one for the constitution I hope it is fireproof someone has been burning it at the corners now for the last 6 years
