This was my 2nd garden bench. I got the design from Wood Magazine.
1st time using a Dado blade, that was fun and educational. I have a 9” band saw (for now) so making the legs didn’t turn out as good as I wanted them to. That saw vibrates bunches!
Made from treated pine with oak stain and marine varnish.
It’s supposed to be in the garden, but my wife said it’s too nice to be out there, so now it’s a bench under the window in the breakfast nook. HELLO!

Very nicely built bench. Is it heavy? I wanted build one like this, but until now couldn’t find lightweight wood with that thickness.

You’ve got a great bench. They also make great dressing benches in the bed room and bathroom.

Woodworm, No it’s not heavy at all.
Someone, bless their heart threw away 40ea 2×10’s so I grabbed them, this is one thing I made from the scrap.
